WELCOME TO

Prästgården Holmön

HOSTEL AND COMMUNITY CENTER

Prästgården, the former rectory where the priest lived, is nowadays owned by us at Holmön. The house is our community center where we have meetings, lunches, cultural events, senior exercise and more all around the year. The house is run non profit, all profit goes back to the organization. When you stay at our hostel, you contribute to a living countryside.

Book

During the off season/ winter season it is only possible to book the whole house. Please read our terms of service found below before making the reservation.

For bookings of the whole house, contact us via info@prastgardenholmon.se or telephone +4676-637 90 24 to leave a message and we will get back you as soon as we can.

Our rooms

We have five bedrooms: four group rooms with bunk beds, and one more comfortable double room. Three of the rooms have family bunk beds, with a wider bed below.

When you book a room you and your party hav the whole room to yourself: we don’t mix parties even though there are beds not used in the room.

The rooms are named after boats that are part of the yearly event of sailing and rowing from Holmön to Vasa in Finland: Dufvan, Lommen, Vinningen, Falken and Tjärlek.

On the same floor is the kitchen, dining room and an accessibility adapted toilet. Showers are only in the basement, reached by stairs.
